MY SERVICES AND CHARGES

Psychology Session

Initial telephone consultation, where I explain more about my service and how I can help you and you can check that I am the right therapist for you, is completely free.

Subsequent sessions  can either be held in person, face-to-face, at  my home or in nearby offices. Alternatively, if you live outside commutable distance or online therapy suits your personal circumstances better, I am able to offer (remote) on-line therapy by Zoom, MS Teams, Skype or another online therapy-specific platform. If you choose the latter method you will need to use a confidential, private space where you will be undisturbed for the 50-minutes of therapy and you will need a stable internet service and suitable equipment (generally laptop, ipad or tablet rather than phone). You may also want to use earphones.

As development of the therapeutic relationship is very important to the outcome, I offer reduced cost initial sessions until you are comfortable with how I work and settled into the process :

1st Session  £25

2nd Session £35

Thereafter

£50 per face-to-face session

£45 per online session

Payment is by cash, on the day, for face-to face therapy or by bank transfer, 24-hours in advance of the session, for on-line therapy.

Full-time students and counselling trainees £30 per session.

Discounts  may also be offered to low -income clients.

Having trained with a children's charity providing counselling to young people (including within the school setting),  I am able to offer specialised counselling services to young people aged 11+ as well as adults.
